The Urban Tree Swing

I initially thought this was a really bad idea. But I watched them play on it for a while and it seemed that their engineering brains had worked it out pretty well. Despite the fact that there was nothing locking the rope onto the porch except the force of their own weight on the handle, it didn't really seem to budge. Well, unless you had it at just the right angle, but it only fell if you weren't on it to weight it down. Of course, when you have a three year old that eats Mighty Bites, you should know he'll be able to push it high enough to knock the whole thing off. Which is, of course, what happened. But, hey, it was fun while it lasted....
