Hallowe'en

We went trick or treating with Logan again. We continued our tradition of soup at Shelley's, Zeb refusing to go to scary houses, Logan forgetting the UNICEF box, and Shel and her neighbors all discussing whether they're going to the Hallowe'en party that someone on their block has every year. They all say 'Are you going? I don't know. I might not.' and then they all go. There has been a huge candy trade business going on. As always the costume decision was made in the final 24 hours before Hallowe'en. Jesse started out wanting to be a queen and Zeb couldn't strain his imagination so he decided to go in last year's Green Power Ranger costume. Then they decided to be sharks. Then an alien and a spaceship. Then a werewolf. Then a shark and a shark queen. And finally, Shark and Baby Shark (or as Jess says beebee shark). Zeb and I stayed up late the night before taping his costume together and eating pumpkin seeds, which Zeb says gave him super shark power because of the salt and you know sharks live in salt water and that's what gives them shark power. Then he'd have to race around the room at top speed and then check himself out in the mirror. This made it hard to cover him in duct tape.
